Motorola Droid Razr 4G Android Phone for Verizon Wireless

I posted before that Motorola and Verizon Wireless were planning to release a new Razr cell phone- the Razr Droid Verizon Smartphone. Well, that didn't take long. On Veteran's day 2011, 11/11/11, Verizon released the brand new Droid razr. This phone combines some of the loved qualities of the old razr phones with the performance of the popular Droid smartphone line.

There were some huge Veteran's Day sales on this release, and some vendors ended up backordered due to the demand. We scoured the internet and followed a bunch of cell phone vendors on twitter and facebook to try to find the best deal on the Droid RAZR. As of right now, it looks like Amazon Wireless has the new Droid Razr starting at $199. You can choose from any of the cell phone plans available on Verizon Wireless or keep your existing plan if you are a current customer. Of course prices on cell phones and availability is likely to change rapidly.
